Kitchen flooring inspiration

Inspired by a sample of Holm Oak from the Basque region of Spain, acquired following routine woodland maintenance, our designers have enhanced the beautiful natural grain in a slimline plank with a unique lightly scraped and brushed effect.

The burnished dark knots of Basque Oak have been artfully muted with a milky wash to offer a delicately balanced clean look in a light neutral tone that will create a tranquil and inviting space.

Basque Oak is also available in a 56" x 9" plank.

Sourced from an Italian quarry, the stone that inspired our Sabbia Ceppo design resembles a naturally formed terrazzo. Available in 18" x 36" tiles, Sabbia Ceppo is a sandy variation of the source material that softens the tonal variation of the fragments we replicated within the tiles.

Inspired by wood sourced from European forests, Prairie Oak presents a beautiful array of pale earthy browns. The lighter shades offer a stylish, modern alternative to traditional oak flooring without losing the detail in the grain. A handscraped emboss highlights the texture further, creating a realistic oak plank replication. Available in a large 56” x 9” format, Prairie Oak brings a sense of grandeur to any interior.

Inspired by a sample of European oak with interesting colour variation, knots and sap markings, Cotton Oak is a light neutral design with a handscraped effect and subtle sideways burring.

A white liming process has resulted in a gentle chalky appearance with a white to grey transition across the planks. Overall the effect is a light and bright floor with warm tones and tranquil coastal vibes.

For a bold contemporary statement, Montpellier’s striking mix of octagonal tiles and square insets presents opulent neo-classical style in this combination of Azure and Lace. With clean lines and intricate patterning, this flooring offers a warm look with bags of personality.

Mountain Oak is subtle and unassuming with gentle shades of colour ranging from pinky-creams to pastel grey-browns. This on-trend neutral provides an ideal base for a modern, minimalistic setting. Use accessories to introduce colour themes and textures.

In this 18” x 3” parquet format, Mountain Oak can be laid on its own in a herringbone style, or used in combination with larger planks (see RL22) or our matching Quadrant border for a more striking look.

The concrete look continues to be popular in residential interiors and Smoked Concrete provides a mid to dark grey tile that authentically replicates the original material. Our designers introduced a softness by wearing away at the original concrete to create a light mottling, resulting in an almost fabric-like finish.

This design is also available in a softer, greige tone, Dove Grey Concrete (ST21).

Limed Oak will always be a popular flooring choice due to its versatility, and these planks are even more beautiful with a neutral wash creating an understated backdrop to your décor. These Northern European boards were hand selected to ensure the perfect balance of straight grain and flowery planks. Dutch Limed Oak offers a perfect colour pitch where the tones throughout the planks add a touch of warmth.
